Supermodels in Jeopardy

“I’ll definitely be choosing another of Jonathan Dorf’s plays for our senior drama and festival entries next year. Supermodels in Jeopardy is a smart, funny play with great characters that really help young performers develop their acting chops. Directors of small companies will really appreciate how carefully Mr. Dorf has crafted this one act play to allow a range of staging options from minimalist to opulent.”Dave Luukkonen, Kindersley Composite School (Kindersley, SK, Canada)

Synopsis

All of the world’s supermodels—except for two guys from Iceland who missed their airline connection—have gathered in one place for the International Convention of Supermodels. So when the convention center collapses, it traps the entire supermodel community in their dressing rooms beneath the rubble. Can the convention organizers find a way to rescue them? Will the intern take the blame? What would it be like to live in a world without supermodels? Will we have to find out the hard way?
